Our Story Began in 1986
In 1986 when Andy and Mandy Ferreira moved to the area. Andy spent a decade in vegetable farming, before returning to viticulture and started Riverace Viticulture—now one of the largest vineyard management companies in Western Australia, harvesting approximately one-third of the state’s wine grapes

Greenpiper Wines is a family-owned, grape-growing and winemaking business deeply rooted in the Margaret River region.
Our focus has always been to craft exceptional wines by combining premium fruit, deep viticultural expertise, and skilled winemaking.

Andy Ferreira
Andy Ferreira, a qualified viticulturist and Managing Owner of Greenpiper Wines, is actively involved in every stage of the process, from vineyard to bottle.
Our other owners, Rob Tincey and David van der Walt, also reside in Western Australia.
Margaret River, From the Ground Up
We have eleven vineyards, located across the full breadth of the region—from Wilyabrup in the central corridor, through Yallingup and Carbunup in the north, and down to the cooler southern reaches of Karridale.
Each site is carefully managed by an experienced team with more than 150 years of combined regional knowledge, ensuring every block reaches its full potential.
