Who We Are

Established in 2005

Greenpiper Wines is a family-owned grape-growing and winemaking business deeply rooted in the Margaret River region. Our story began in 1986 when Andy and Mandy Ferreira moved to the area. Andy spent a decade in vegetable farming, before returning to viticulture and started Riverace Viticulture—now one of the largest vineyard management companies in Western Australia, harvesting approximately one-third of the state’s wine grapes.

Our other owners are Rob Tincey and David van der Walt who also reside in Western Australia.

Award Winning

In 2025, our wines were recognised with 6 trophy wins and 18 gold medals—an achievement we are incredibly proud of.

Seven Vineyards

We have seven of our own vineyards, located across the full breadth of the region—from Wilyabrup in the central corridor, through Yallingup and Carbunup in the north, and down to the cooler southern reaches of Karridale.

Each site is carefully managed by an experienced team with more than 115 years of combined regional knowledge, ensuring every block reaches its full potential.

All of our vineyards are either sustainably accredited or in the process of accreditation through the Sustainable Winegrowing Australia system. It is imperative to us that we leave a better footprint for future generations, and we continue to invest in practices that support long-term environmental health.

Minimal Intervention Principles

We follow minimal-intervention winemaking principles, allowing the fruit to speak for itself. Grapes are harvested in the cool of the night to preserve freshness and aromatic intensity.
