Beginnings in Margaret River
In 1986, newlyweds Andy and Mandy Ferreira moved to the Margaret River region. After a stint in vegetable growing and recognising the potential of the area, they transitioned into the wine industry. By forming Riverace Viticulture, they quickly became key players in the region’s growth, helping to shape what is now one of Australia's premier wine destinations.
Riverace Viticulture has been on a steady path of growth ever since and currently manages 30 vineyard estates in the region, and provides specialised machinery services and consulting to vineyards across the state. This deep involvement paved the way for the creation of Greenpiper Wines, giving Andy and Rob unparalleled access to prime fruit and a profound understanding of the land.
