100% Cabernet Sauvignon
Region: Margaret River
These well-aged, mature red wines possess a smoothness and elegance that we just don’t see anymore, except on the rare occasion when you find something in the back of someone's cellar.
Matured in premium French Oak barriques for 18 months.
Terroir: Single Vineyard. Brushwood is located on Commonage Road in the Yallingup sub-region. It has a notable track record for producing award-winning Cabernet Sauvignon. The vineyard is situated on a gentle north-facing slope, overlooking Geographe Bay, and the soils are ideal for producing high-quality Cabernet Sauvignon.
Awards: Gold, Points 97 The International Wine & Spirit Competition 2025
Ray Jordan, 95 Points: This stylish, rich, and powerfully presented cabernet sits at the top of the range. A combination of vineyards from Wilyabrup and Yallingup contributes ripe, powerful fruit, creating a wine that is both dense and delightful. Lovely notes of liqueur cherry, dark chocolate, violets, and plummy black currant richness. A most stylish and expressive wine.
IWSC, 97 Points Tasting Notes: Delightful aromas of chassis, cola, mocha, and tobacco leaf greet the senses. The palate reveals ripe fruit, underscored by chocolate and savoury elements of tomato leaf, dried herbs, and a lingering essence of rich Damson plum.
