A little barrel fermentation and further maturation have introduced a degree of textural complexity and mouthfeel that sets this apart from your normal run-of-the-mill savvy. Terroir: The fruit comes from Rainbow Farm and Wylco. Rainbow Farm, located southeast of Karridale, is close to the Southern Ocean. Its coastal position and cool climate make it particularly well suited to producing aromatic white wines. The vineyard is planted across north-facing slopes of gravelly loam over clay. Wylco, located southeast of Witchcliffe in Forest Grove, lies within the Karridale sub-region. The vineyard is set across a series of hills, with two small valleys that naturally drain into Chapman Brook.

96 - 100: Exceptional quality exhibiting highest level of concentration and complexity.
93 – 95: Outstanding quality showing varietal purity and exemplifying regional type.
89 - 92: Excellent quality showing high level of concentration and balance.
85 - 88: Very good quality displaying attractive flavours and good balance.
81 - 84: Good quality, easy drinking with straightforward flavours.
