Tasting Notes: A fragrant nose of cherry pip, ripe plum and wild strawberry is complemented by subtle notes of vanilla and cedary oak. The palate is medium-bodied and savoury, with flavours of black plum, dried fig and a touch of licorice adding depth and complexity. Fine, dusty tannins provide structure and a classic Tempranillo savouriness, while well-integrated oak lends spice and elegance. A persistent finish with impressive length completes this balanced and approachable Margaret River Tempranillo.
Terroir: Gibindee is located south of the Carbunup townsite on the eastern side of Bussel Highway in the Carbunup sub-region. The property is reasonably flat, with gravelly loam soils, making it highly suitable for Tempranillo.
