Tasting Notes: Intense aromas of tropical fruits and a hint of lime generating a unique freshness. Delicate floral aromas amongst snow pea, cucumber, lantana and musk lolly. The palate explodes with fruit flavours and a hint of gooseberry.
Terroir: The fruit in this wine comes from Rainbow Farm and Wylco both located in the Karridale sub region in southern Margaret River. It is very close to the Southern Ocean and is probably the best-situated Margaret River vineyards for aromatic white wine production. The vineyard is laid out over north-facing slopes of gravelly loams over clay. The microclimate on these properties are perfect for growing high-quality Sauvignon Blanc and has provided fruit for many trophy-winning wines over the years.
