70% Shiraz, 20% Merlot, 10% Malbec
Region: Margaret River
Tasting Notes: An aromatic bouquet of fresh strawberries & cream, complemented by sweet floral and cherry flavours and a rainbow crimson hue. A softly structured wine, crispy and refreshing served well chilled on a hot summer's day. Ben Rector
Terroir: Grapes are harvested from Ridge Farm and Alan Rock in the Wilyabrup Sub Region. Ridge Farm vineyard is situated on a gentle north-facing slope, protected by native forests on the southern side and benefiting from the cooling sea breeze coming in from the southwest (Shiraz 70%). The Alan Rock property has a gentle eastern and northern aspect, with the Yelverton Forest on its northern and western boundaries. The soils are well-matched to the varietals, and the vineyard is not far from the coast, making it ideal for growing Merlot (20%) and Malbec (10%)
