75% Cabernet 25% Merlot
Region: Margaret River
Tasting Notes: Brick red in colour, with aromas of mulberry, cassis and dark plum. Brightly fruited palate is fruit driven with soft savoury elements. It is complimented with layers of berries and liquorice, vibrant fruit with notes of cedar and hints of creamy vanillin oak. The integration of oak is beautifully balanced. A smooth finish, with soft tannins. Ben Rector
Terrior: Majority of fruit in this wine comes from a selection of properties from the Wilyabrup, Yallingup and Carbunup Sub regions of Margaret River. The Merlot comes from Little Creek, located to the northeast of Cowaramup in the upper catchment of the Carbunup River valley. The vineyard has a lovely northern aspect, with gravelly loam soils, making it suitable for growing Merlot.
