Tasting Notes: Deep red in colour, with aromas of blue and black fruits, complimented with vanillin oak influence. True to its varietal roots, it showcases concentrated Cabernet qualities enhanced by well-integrated oak. Richly flavoured palate with elements of jammy fruit, vanillin oak and dark chocolate, preserved fruit complexity. Great concentration and density, while elegantly structured so that all flavours are interwoven, ensuring no single element overpowers another. A soft finish, delivering a refined Cabernet Sauvignon. Terroir: Grown on the Butler Crest Estate in the heart of Wilyabrup. After a thorough soil survey we selected this block that has strong red pea gravel loams for our premium selection of Cabernet Sauvignon. The block is on a gentle north facing slope, protected by native forest on the southern side, and close to the cooling breeze’s coming off the nearby Indian Ocean just a few km’s away.
