Tasting Notes: A richly flavoured Shiraz showing lifted aromas of morello cherry, dark fruits and subtle meatiness, with hints of vanilla and baking spice adding warmth and complexity. The palate is dense and generous, layered with forest fruits, black olive and a well-judged lick of oak. Silky tannins provide shape and polish, carrying the wine through to a long, flavoursome finish.
Terroir: Ridge Farm, located in Wilyabrup in the heart of the Margaret River region, has a notable track record for producing high-quality Shiraz. Our vineyard is situated on a gentle north-facing slope, protected by native forests on the southern side and benefiting from the cooling sea breeze coming in from the southwest.
