Terroir: The fruit comes from Rainbow Farm and Wylco. Rainbow Farm, located southeast of Karridale, is close to the Southern Ocean. Its coastal position and cool climate make it particularly well suited to producing aromatic white wines. The vineyard is planted across north-facing slopes of gravelly loam over clay. Wylco, located southeast of Witchcliffe in Forest Grove, lies within the Karridale sub-region. The vineyard is set across a series of hills, with two small valleys that naturally drain into Chapman Brook.
