Cape Domaine Rose Crowned Best WA Rose at 2025 Wine Show

We’re thrilled to share that our Cape Domaine Rosé has been crowned Best WA Rosé at the 2025 WA Alternative Varietals & Geographe Wine Show! We knew this wine was something special, but it’s incredibly exciting to see the judges agree. Only bottled in July 2025, the feedback has been amazing—some even suggesting it could convert even the most non-rosé drinkers.

We weren’t able to attend the awards night, so the winemaker himself, Mark Warren, stepped in to accept the award. One of Margaret River’s finest, Mark is an accomplished wine judge and lecturer, and has crafted wines for many acclaimed wineries across the region.

The Tempranillo grapes for our Cape Domaine Rosé were handpicked earlier this year from the vineyard right outside our office window in the heart of Margaret River. Each bunch was carefully harvested to preserve the fresh flavours and manage the colour, before being transported to Mark for crafting.

Our Cape Domaine Malbec also impressed, taking out silver with 92 points — also a  wonderful achievement.  Check out the full list of results.
